Location

The Thermal Chasers location will be very carefully selected and only announced after we have checked weather conditions, looked at the skill sets and requests of team of pilots that are prebooked in.

In Summer months we have been know to Go to UK sites Cumbria etc where we can see the pilots booked in will have huge development and opportunity to develop, although it is fare to say 95% the time Thermal Chasers is overseas.

Weather

1. Week before Thermal Chasers due to start we begin to study the weather patterns, developing across Europe, watching very closely weather systems approaching, speed and movement of air, temperatures, Post cold frontal and a lot more......

Logistics

Once we can see a location where the weather will not just be good for flying but good for Thermaling, we start to look at flights, accommodation, Transports, local sites rule, skill sets needed for take off, landings, safe effective cross country route.
